Bio:WeiTianisanassociateresearcherattheShanghaiAstronomicalObservatory,ChineseAcademyofScience.In2013,hegraduatedfromtheinstituteofplanetarygeodesy,TechnicalUniversityofDresden(TUD).Afteralonglaboriouswork,thespeakersystematicallyconstructedanewplanetaryandlunar(numerical)ephemerisPETREL19.Thisworkwasincludedinthetriennialreport(2022-2024)ofIAUCommissionX-2solarsystemephemerides(https://www.iau.org/static/science/scientific_bodies/commissions/x2/commission-x2-triennial-report-2021-2024.pdf),togetherwiththeAmericanDEephemeris,theFrenchINPOPephemerisandtheRussianEPMephemeris,anditfilledthegapinthefieldofplanetaryandlunarephemerisinChina.Atpresent,heismainlyengagedinbasicresearchonthedynamicsofthesolarsystemandtheconstructionofplanetaryandlunarephemeris.
